The Coral Reef Series emerged from my creation for the “Art for Reef” initiative. The campaign was established in order to bring awareness to the threats posed to the world heritage listed natural wonder – The Great Barrier Reef and artists around the country are encouraged to create an artistic response. “Save the Reef” represents my view on the current situation of the Great Barrier Reef and the later created images grew from this initial piece.
